TaskLink is a browser extension that lets you schedule reading and work tasks directly from any webpage. When you add a task, TaskLink saves it to your browser's local storage and creates an event on your Google Calendar using your own Google account.
The following data is stored only on your device, never transmitted to TaskLink's servers (which do not exist):
This data is stored in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and
chrome.storage.local / browser.storage.local).
It is removed when you uninstall the extension or clear your browser's extension data.
TaskLink uses Google OAuth 2.0 to authenticate with your Google account. This is required solely to create calendar events on your behalf. TaskLink:
calendar.events scope — the minimum required to create eventsYour use of Google Calendar is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
TaskLink does not share any data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services. The only external service TaskLink communicates with is the Google Calendar API, using your own Google account credentials, solely to create the calendar events you request.
TaskLink contains no analytics code, tracking pixels, or telemetry of any kind.
TaskLink does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
